About Colleen (Cali)…

With over 20 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Senior Creative, and Art Director, Colleen is a true industry veteran. Originally from Alice Springs, she studied Communication Design at Charles Darwin University and has since honed her skills in logo design, stationery, business cards, signage, posters, banners, flyers, websites, packaging, and more.

After starting her career as a Senior Graphic Designer at a local Commercial Printer, Colleen went on to work for Central Australia’s most respected Advertising Agency, where she directed projects for major clients like NT Tourism and the NT Major Events Company. Her experience spans across continents, including 6 months working as a fitness instructor in Brazil, 3 years working in London, and a stint with Brisbane City Council’s Neighbourhood Planning Division.

In 2007, Colleen launched Cali-Grafix, a creative agency that has built a reputation for great design and dependable service across the Sunshine Coast and South East Queensland. Her diverse portfolio showcases work from clients all over the country, from Nambour to Alice Springs.

Cali’s passion for design, web development, social media, and illustration is matched only by her exceptional talent for visualizing new concepts and creating custom solutions for each client. She is an experienced illustrator, using watercolour/gouache and digital software to create fun drawings and paintings for children’s books and flat vector images for brochures, diagrams, or other communication media.

In addition to her design expertise, Colleen has spent recent years honing her web design skills to encompass WordPress with incorporated basic SEO, ensuring your site has a better ranking with search engines.
